Hunting
Hunting such a vast undisturbed wilderness is a unique experience and to ensure success, hunters are guided by our hunting guides who are extremely proficient hunters in this area. Most of the hunting on the farm is done on foot and due to the mountainous terrain, a fair level of fitness is required. Silencers on rifles are encouraged if possible and no shots may be taken from or near vehicles. Our hunting season will open in April 2024 and close at the end of September 2024. The minimum stay for hunters is 3 nights to allow for two full days hunting.
Hunting Vehicles, recovery & meat handling
Included in our daily rate for hunters are the following:
- Hunting Guides – usually one for every two hunters.
- Use of our Hilux and Land Cruiser vehicles. (including fuel & drivers)
- Recovery crew on standby during normal working hours.
- All skinning of shot animals.
- Use of our cold room facilities until departure.
- Quartering and loading of carcases on final day of hunting.

- Eland Bull = R15 000.00 (for trophy≥30’ longest horn add R5 000.00)
- Eland Cow = R10 000.00
- Kudu Bull = R12 500.00 (for trophy≥45’ longest horn add R2 500.00)
- Kudu Bull ≤25” = R7 500.00
- Kudu Cow = R7 500.00
- Gemsbok = R12 000.00 (M or F)
- Bush pig = R4 000.00
- Springbuck = R2 500.00 (M or F)
- Grey duiker = R3 000.00 (males only)
- Klipspringer = R5 000.00 (males only)
- Please Note -
Only game species specified on the hunting list above may be hunted.
Above rates apply to all animals wounded.
Rooikat, Jackal & Baboon may be shot at no charge if seen.
Gratuities
This is obviously not compulsory, but we recommend
R150.00/guest/day which will be divided by farm manager
